Regis Musengeyi, a resettled farmer who is also reported to be a former freedom fighter, has been disowned by his colleagues and ordered to vacate his farm for being a “traitor.” This comes after Musengeyi is alleged to have attended an MDC-T rally which was addressed by MDC-T president Morgan Tsvangirai at Mkoba Stadium in Gweru.
This came out at a meeting held at Masomera Business Centre which Musengeyi did not attend. The meeting resolved that Musengeyi should immediately vacate his farm as MDC-T members were not allowed in the area. Other resettled farmers who attended the meeting were also warned that they would face eviction if they attended any opposition party events in future.
