Former CAPS United director Twine Phiri returns to football administration

Former CAPS United director Twine Phiri has returned to football administration after joining Chitungwiza Municipality Football Club’s executive in the Northern Region Soccer League.

Speaking to SportZone Chitungwiza Municipality chairperson, Ranganai Gona, confirmed Phiri’s appointment but said that the club is still deciding on his exact post. Said Gona:

Twine Phiri bounces back in football at Chitown FC! (We are) still negotiating his capacity but had since agreed to be with us. We have finalised with him whats just left is to see which position he can take up.

However when contacted for comment Phiri denied joining Chitungwiza FC.
