Auditor General to audit Command Agriculture

The Ministry of Finance and Economic Development has said that Command Agriculture will be audited by the Auditor General’s Office. The Auditor General’s Office will look into deposits being made into the Command Agriculture Fund at a local bank.

The Herald reports that by the end of June, $2,4 million of $32 million allocated for maize deliveries by the Grain Marketing Board (GMB) had been recovered from Command Agriculture beneficiaries.
