The Warriors are through to the finals of the 2017 edition of the Cosafa Cup that is currently underway in South Africa after beating Lesotho 4-3 in a thrilling match played on Thursday evening. In the final, Zimbabwe will meet Zambia on Sunday. Zambia beat Tanzania 4-1 in another semi-final.

Knox Mutizwa scored a hatrick while the other goal was scored by Talent Chawapiwa. Mutizwa scored in the 18th minute from a corner before Lesotho’s Motebang equalised in the 41st minute to send both teams level at halftime. Mutizwa scored his second in the 51st minute after pouncing onto a defence splitting pass from Chawapiwa.
