The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has taken Buhera South MP Joseph Chinotimba to the High Court in an effort to make him pay a $15 058 electricity debt accumulated through the operation of his grinding mill (chigayo) located at his home in Concession.
Through its lawyers Muvingi and Mugadza Legal Practitioners ZETDC says that Chinotimba failed to pay for electricity supplied as per a contract they entered with him. Chinotimba is yet to respond to the lawsuit.
