22-year old Honest Moyo of Gwanda who was arrested while in possession of a bag containing a human head and male private parts has a case of attempted murder which is pending at the courts. Moyo is alleged to have murdered a mentally ill homeless man and taken his head and private parts for suspected rituals. He claims that he was promised $25 000 although he argues that the man was already dead when he found him.
According to court records , Moyo was charged with attempted murder after striking a fellow herdboy with an axe last year. Moyo was put on remand in June last year, but the case was unable to continue to trial as the complainant did not show up and seems to have disappeared. His current whereabouts are still unknown.
