Pastor Evan Mawarire arrested for addressing students at UZ #FeesMustFall protest (Updated)

ThisFlag founder Pastor Evan Mawarire has reportedly been arrested after he joined University of Zimbabwe College of Health Sciences students in protesting against a 30 percent increase in fees.

The Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights (ZLHR) deployed lawyers to offer emergency legal services to Pastor Evan and Ocean Chihota who was also arrested at UZ. Below is a video of Pastor Evan giving an update from Avondale police station:

Pastor Evan is set to face charges of subverting a constitutionally elected government at the High Court in September.
