Man masquerades as CIO agent, attends Mugabe security briefing, arrested trying to access VVIP tent

Elmos Sigeglagelani a 29-year old man from Mutare was sentenced to two months in jail by Mutare Magistrate Lazarus Murendo after he masqueraded as Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) operative and attended a security briefing for President Robert Mugabe’s Youth Interface rally in Mutare rally last week. He was arrested after he entered the Very Very Important Person (VVIP) tent and failed to explain himself satisfactorily.

He was charged with criminal nuisance and sentenced to 2 months in jail although he has the option of paying a $200 fine.
