Citizens Legal Aid Society and Advisory Trust who are representing Karikoga Kaseke’s former lover Beverly Mujuru, confirmed to NewsDay that a warrant of arrest has been issued for the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) boss who has failed to pay maintenance for their child who is said to be disabled.
Mujuru who is Kaseke’s niece had a child with the ZTA boss while they were living together. Some time in 2009 Kaseke was ordered to pay $1 500 per month as maintenance for the child. He has accumulated $142 500 in maintenance arrears. Mujuru’s lawyers said that the police did not find Kaseke who was said to be out of the country on business when they went to arrest him.
