President Mugabe is as strong as an iron bar, First Lady tells mourners

Addressing mourners at the at home of the late Cde Chinx, First Lady Grace Mugabe claimed that President Robert Mugabe was as strong as an iron bar. Said the First Lady:

We are not in control of our destiny, yes, we are not. Only God knows the length of our lives, that this one is not even going to see another day, or this one will live for that long

Some of us stay with President Mugabe who is as strong as an iron bar; yes an iron bar; and up to today on his two legs he is still walking and that is what God has chosen for his life.

The Lady’s comments come after interest in the President’s health has gone up, with Mugabe sometimes appearing visibly tired and frail when in public. There is also speculation that Mugabe spends a lot of time outside the country in order to get treatment from foreign hospitals.
