Comrade Chinx declared a liberation war hero and not a national hero, will not be buried at Heroes Acre

Dickson Chingaira Makoni popularly known as Cde Chinx Chingaira has been declared a liberation war hero by the Zanu-PF Politburo.  As he has not been declared a National Hero, this means that  Chingaira will not be buried at the National Heroes Acre.  Zanu-PF secretary for administration Ignatius Chombo said:

Cde Dickson Chingaira has been declared a liberation war hero. He has earned this because of his works during the war and he remained consistent after the war. The nation is thankful to his contribution

Chingaira died at West End Hospital in Harare where he was reportedly battling leukaemia. He was 61.
