Liberation war hero Kenny Ndlovu has died. He died at his home in Bulawayo after succumbing to a stroke he suffered in 2008. He was 73.
He will be buried today at the Bulawayo Provincial Heroes’ Acre in Nkulumane suburb. He joined the armed struggle in 1964 and went to Zambia where his group was selected to undergo military training for eight months. After independence, he joined the Zimbabwe National Army and was discharged in 1982.
Ndlovu is survived by his wife, Sithembile Nkomo, six children and four grandchildren.
