Zimbabwean-American actress Danai Gurira will star in Marvel movie Avengers: Infinity War which is expected to be released on 25 April 2018. Her role has not been revealed yet but it is suspected that she will play Black Panther character Okoye, one of the ferocious female warriors who watch over the royal family.
Gurira made a name for herself playing the samurai sword-wielding warrior Michonne on The Walking Dead. She also plays the role of Afeni Shakur mother to slain rap artist Tupac Shakur in the movie “All Eyez on Me” which is being released today (Thursday).
