Mujuru & Khupe accused of plotting to block Tsvangirai from leading grand coalition

National People’s Party (NPP) leader Joice Mujuru and MDC-T vice president Thokozani Khupe have been accused of plotting to block MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai from leading the grand coalition against Robert Mugabe’s Zanu-PF in the 2018 elections.

The Daily News reports that there is one faction of MDC-T legislators who are mobilising voters in their constituencies not to vote for Tsvangirai but to vote for councillors and members of parliament. The publication also states that women are plotting to have a woman lead the coalition.
