ZTA considering introducing Command Tourism

In an effort to develop the tourism sector, the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) is considering introducing command tourism. This comes after Command Agriculture has been touted as having resulted in a bumper harvest this season.  The program was spearheaded by Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Speaking at the Hlanganani/Sanganai 10th anniversary launch in Bulawayo on Thursday, ZTA chief executive, Karikoga Kaseke said:

I was talking to the minister that why don’t we introduce command tourism. We must introduce command tourism so that those who are doing what we don’t want to do they should stop. They will be commanded to stop

Those who are not doing what they are supposed to be doing they must be commanded to do it. It’s an idea you can laugh at, but I am serious, when I talk about command tourism because that is the issue.
