Ivory Coast player Cheick Tiote had child with Zimbabwean lover

Cheick Tiote (30), who collapsed and died on Monday (May 5 2017) while training with his Chinese club, Beijing Enterprises, had a child with UK-based Zimbabwean lover Nkosiphile Mpofu while he was still married to his wife Madah.

The Ivory Coast international had reportedly gone to Ivory Coast and married a second woman and Mpofu, whose baby from a three-year affair with Tiote was then just one-year-old, ended the relationship, claiming that he had promised to marry her too.

She claimed that Tiote met her mum and said he’s permitted to have several wives and she was comfortable with that arrangement.
