Saviour Kasukuwere’s brother and businessman, Stanley Kasukuwere is allegedly refusing to vacate Tatenda Murenha’s Pomona property in Borrowdale and has approached the court seeking reversal of judgment and stay of eviction, arguing his rental payments for the property are up to date.
In his founding affidavit, Kasukuwere said he does not owe Murenha in rentals and there is no justification in seeking an ejectment order. He alleges that Murenha misrepresented that the agreed rentals were $1 300 per month, where in fact it are $1 100 per month.
Kasukuwere also claims that he cleared all the March rentals before the summons had been issued. He says he only owes Murenha $940 as at April 4 which they agreed would be settled before April 30, when he gets paid through the National Paralympic Games. The matter is set to be heard today.
