ZIFA Vice President denies trying to protect Highlanders in PSL Disciplinary Process

Zifa Vice President Omega Sibanda has dismissed speculation that he had ordered the PSL disciplinary committee to order a resumption of the abandoned Highlanders-Dynamos instead of awarding the match to Dynamos on a 3-0 scoreline. Sibanda is deemed to be trying to protect Highlanders, as Bosso is expected to be punished for failing to control its fans.

Speaking on Monday, Sibanda said:

Those are PSL issues and Zifa we are not involved in the process. Only when there is an appeal will there be Zifa interest on the part of our committee. We are not involved.
