4 parties to participate in Chiwundura by-election
The by-election to select a new Member of Parliament for Chiwundura constituency will be held on thew 15th of July 2017, and 4 candidates have filed their nomination papers. The by-election became necessary following the death of Kizito Chivamba (Zanu PF) last month.
The candidates who will be contesting in the election are
Takudzwa Guzete – National Constitutional Assembly (NCA)
Brighton Mudzwiti – Freezim Congress
Brown Ndlovu – Zanu PF
Webster Zulu – Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe (PDZ)

Since more than one candidate has been duly nominated in the Chiwundura, a poll shall take place on the 15th of July 2017 in accordance with subsection 146 of the Electoral Act (chapter 2:13) as read with proclamation number three of 2013,
