Nothing wrong with Bona Mugabe's appointment says Moyo , gives Donald Trump's appointment of son in-law as defence

Higher Education Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo and Norton legislator Temba Mliswa have defended the appointment of Bona Mugabe to the Censorship Board. Bona’s appointment has been likened to creating a dynasty North Korean style by the MDC-T.

However in a series of tweets, Moyo defended Bona’s appointment to the board and gave an example of Donald Trump who appointed his son in-law  Jared Kushner as White House Chief of Staff. However, Trump’s appointment of Kushner was also criticised by Democrats on the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee who asked the US government to review “a number of legal issues” over Mr Kushner’s appointment. Said Moyo:

When asked why the “job” was not advertised Moyo said that board appointments are not advertised. He also went on to say that serving in a public board is not a form of employment but that it is a service to the nation. Said Moyo:

In a tweet, Mliswa asked why Zimbabweans are criticising Bona’s appointment when they were quiet when other people were appointed before. Said Mliswa:
