The Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe (IDBZ) has raised nearly $110 million for constructing accommodation for university students and employees.

IDBZ said that $75 million will go towards the construction of student accommodation at 5 State-owned universities while $32 million will go towards the construction of houses in Kariba, Hwange and Sumben. The bank’s finance director Cassius Gambinga said that IDBZ was appointed the lead financial advisor on the upgrading and dualisation of the Beitbridge-Harare-Chirundu highway. Gambinga also said that the bank has identified an investor for the Tokwe-Mkosi mini hydro project.
