Video: Fists flying at Zanu-PF provincial meeting in Bulawayo

Yesterday’s Zanu-PF Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting in Bulawayo degenerated into an ugly brawl after youths and war veterans clashed at Davis Hall in Bulawayo.  Youth league chairperson Anna Mokgohloa was attacked by war veterans and Bulawayo central district chairperson  Magura Charumbira was stabbed during the brawl.

The youths were throwing stones into the hall and smashing windows, saying they wanted to stop the meeting as they did not recognize the provincial executive. Provincial Executive members were detained inside the building for more than 6 hours by the rowdy youths and war veterans. They were eventually able to leave under a police escort after riot police were called in.
