Zanu-PF suspends Jappy Jaboon for five years for causing divisions in the party

Former Zanu-PF Masvingo provincial secretary for the commissariat, Jappy Jaboon, has been suspended for five years. This comes after Jaboon was found guilty of causing divisions in the party. Jaboon was tried in absentia after he failed to show up for the hearing. The decision now needs to be endorsed by the Zanu-PF Politburo

Newly elected Zanu-PF Masvingo provincial chairman Ezra Chadzamira confirmed suspension saying

He was suspended from holding any party position for the next five years and is now an ordinary card-carrying member.

Cde Jaboon did not attend his scheduled hearing and was sentenced in absentia.
