Zim women lose heavily to India in Quadrangular cricket series
India won comprehensively against Zimbabwe in the Quadrangular series in South Africa. The Indians won by a massive 9 wickets despite resting their newly crowned all-time top One-day International wicket-taker Jhulan Goswami.
Zimbabwe failed to handle India’s spin attack and managed to post 93 runs all out. The Indians breezed past Zimbabwe’s total in the 19th over for the loss of one wicket. Josephine Nkomo claimed the solitary wicket of Veda Krishnamurthy after trapping her leg before wicket with the third ball of the chase.
