Government fails to pay village heads their $25 monthly allowances for almost a year

Wednesday’s parliamentary deliberations revealed that village heads have reportedly gone for 8 months without receiving their monthly allowances. The village heads receive a monthly allowance of $25.  Rural Development minister Abednico Ncube said that all village heads who were registered should follow up with their District Administrator’s offices on the issue of allowances.
