No new developments on Coca-Cola's intention to terminate relationship with Delta

Beverage manufacturer Delta Corporation has revealed that it is still negotiating with The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) over its intention to terminate its bottler’s agreement. TCCC indicated that it would end the bottler’s agreement after global beverages giant, AB Inbev’s takeover of SABMiller last year.

Delta Corporation chief executive Pearson Gowero speaking at an analysts briefing yesterday said:

There is nothing to talk about really, as there have been no new developments. We are still negotiating. It is still a matter between AB Inbev and Coca-Cola.

Whatever happens, as management we will make sure shareholder value is preserved.
