Evicted people living with disabilities accuse Minister Mupfumira of lying about helping them

On Tuesday, Minister of Public Service and Social Welfare, Prisca Mupfumira, was accused of lying that her Ministry was looking out for the welfare of the people evicted from the Masterton Cheshire Home. They felt that the minister was being insincere about helping them and confronted her.

Veronica Chinyerere said:

The Minister became defensive and accused the group of exhibiting unAfrican culture, saying that elders cannot be called liars. Said Mupfumira

It is unAfrican to point a finger at elders and say they are liars. Please learn to listen as people speak. Of all the people here, you are misguided and wrong
