Botswana donates to Tsholotho flood victims

The government of Botswana has donated 1500 roofing sheets, 200 door frames and brick force wire worth thousands of dollars to Tsholotsho flood victims. This follows an appeal for aid to the international community by Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko. The donation from the government of Botswana will be used to build houses, ablution facilities, schools and a clinic which were destroyed by Cyclone Dineo. The building materials were received by Minister of State for Matabeleland North province Cde Cain Mathema.

Botswana ambassador to Zimbabwe Lieutenant General Louis Mtswanhego said his government heeded Mphoko’s calls for aid after realising that Zimbabwean citizens in Tsholotsho were the worst affected by Cyclone Dineo.
