Former cabinet minister and Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) national chairperson Christopher Mutsvangwa has attacked the Daily News for allegedly distorting the war veterans’ position to the President. Mutsvangwa said that the newspaper sought to create an impression that the ZNLWVA, were against the president, when in actually fact they were fully behind. This follows a story published in the newspaper which had Victor Matemadenda saying that he would not be silenced by the Commander of the Defence Forces General Constantino Chiwenga. Mutsvangwa also took the opportunity to attack the G40 Faction.
The position of the chairman of ZNLWA on both the President of the Republic and the CDF as stated stands to no new qualification.
All his executive members, including both his secretary general and his spokesperson are in complete compliance with their chairman’s issued stance.
For the record, the elephant in the room of the national democratic revolution was and still is the counter revolutionary malfeasance of the G40 cabal.
…The paper, perhaps out of mischief did not bother to revert and cross check.
