Police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba yesterday confirmed that an inquest will be held to determine the cause of death for former State Procurement Board executive chairman Charles Kuwaza. However, she did not know the exact date the inquest will begin.

Kuwaza died on April 18 after falling nine floors from his Club Chambers offices in Harare. Initially, he was said to have committed suicide by jumping to his death, but circumstantial evidence and the state of his office pointed to a strong possibility of murder as revealed by the Zimbabwe Independent.
