Local Government, Public Works and National Housing Deputy Minister Christopher Chingosho has called for his boss Saviour Kasukuwere to be fired. Chingosho wants his boss to be fired from both the party and the government. This comes at a time when there has been a coordinated attack to have Kasukuwere removed as the Zanu-PF National Political Commissar. All 10 Zanu-PF provinces have endorsed a petition to have Kasukuwere dismissed. Chingosho also accused some senior politicians of protecting Kasukuwere, to prevent him from being fired. He also called for Mandi Chimene to be fired.

Said Chingosho:

I was attacked because I stood up and notified the meeting that they had left two other dangerous people ( Chimene and Chipanga) in the province who are also equally guilty (as Kasukuwere and Undenge and his wife) of undermining the President.
