Harare Magistrate Hosiah Mujaya fined Builders Home Retail Shop $17 000 for wilfully not banking cash. The magistrate found the shop guilty on its own plea, after the company’s representative Charles Mutseka, pleaded guilty to contravening sections of the Bank Use Promotion Act.
The company will pay $15 000 after the magistrate suspended $2 000 on condition that the company is not convicted of a similar crime in the next five years.
