Zanu-PF Youth League and War Collaborators call for Saviour Kasukuwere to be removed

The Zanu-PF Youth League has added its voice to those calling for the removal of Saviour Kasukuwere from the post of Zanu-PF national political commissar. The Zimbabwe Liberation War Collaborators Association (Ziliwaco) have also voiced the same concerns. Kasukuwere seems to be on the ropes already after all 10 Zanu-PF provinces have endorsed a petition calling for his removal. Party leaders are also set to hold a meeting in Mashonaland Central to decide the fate of Kasukuwere and his brother Dickson Mafios.  The brothers are being accused of setting up parallel structures in order to remove President Robert Mugabe.

Youth Leader Kudzanayi Chipanga said:

All youths are participating in the provincial activities that are taking place against Cde Kasukuwere countrywide,

All youths are supportive of that and we have not heard of any province which is against that.

They are speaking without any influence and it is their democratic right.

Cde Kasukuwere’s matter is not a Youth League affair, but a party issue and as such it will be tabled before the next Politburo meeting
