Jonathan Moyo accuses Zimpapers newspapers of being "Command Liars" that are "successionist broadsheets"

In a hard-hitting statement yesterday, Professor Jonathan Moyo accused State-owned newspapers the Herald, Chronicle, Sunday Mail and Sunday News for peddling falsehoods and serving a “successionist” agenda.

Said part of Moyo’s statement:

I have challenged the falsification of Command Agriculture in and by the Herald, Chronicle, Sunday Mail and Sunday News. The falsification has included cooked up figures and ridiculous claims that Government has adopted a policy of Command Economy on the back of Command Agriculture. These false and thus indefensible claims by the Herald, Chronicle, Sunday Mail and Sunday News are harmful to the Party, Government and country and must be rejected by all right thinking Zimbabweans.

…It must be understood that some of us are not programmed robots who will consume, regurgitate and peddle nonsense published by the Herald, Chronicle, Sunday Mail and Sunday News under the pretext that they are Government newspapers publishing Government policy about Government programmes. Only aliens from outer space still don’t know that these newspapers have become successionist broadsheets in the streets and on social media.

…As Command liars, the Herald, Chronicle, Sunday Mail and Sunday News have failed to report that the Command Agriculture initiative was suggested and presented in the Politburo by the First Lady, Dr Grace Mugabe. The rest is history.
