Former State Procurement Board (SPB) chairperson Charles Kuwaza died early today in what is suspected to be a suicide after he reportedly jumped from the 9th floor of Club Chambers Building in Harare.
It is reported that he had visited the building to collect documents to help with the defence against five counts of corruption he was facing before the courts. According to sources interviewed by The Herald, Kuwaza went to his office around 11 am and left his wife in a vehicle. His wife later found Kuwaza’s lifeless body crushed on the tarmac after she made some follow ups forty minutes later.
