Highlanders coach Akbay dismisses speculation linking him to Dynamos

Highlanders coach Erol Akbay has dismissed speculation linking him to Harare giants Dynamos. Akbay is said to be unhappy with Highlanders and boycotted training last week over Highlanders’ failure to fulfill part of his contract. Dynamos, on the other hand, are reported to be unsatisfied with coach Lloyd Mutasa following a slow start to the season.

However, Elroy Akbay dismissed the speculation saying:

It’s not true. It is the first time I am hearing this. Maybe people are just speculating. Yes, I have problems here but they have been sorted now,

As a coach, if at any time there is no club that is interested in you, then you have to ask yourself whether you are doing a good job or not. But no local team has shown any interest in me yet.
