Zanu-PF legislator in court over botched stand deal

Jaison Passade the Mt Pleasant MP for Zanu-PF has been taken to the Harare Civil Court over allegations of failing to refund Marian Pasipanodya of $4 000. Pasipanodya allegedly paid $4 000 in 2 installments to Passade and the Panavest Properties (Pvt) Ltd in order to purchase a stand in Borrowdale.

However, after being barred from accessing the residential stand, by alleged Zanu-PF youths, Pasipanodya changed her mind about purchasing the stand. She asked Passade and the Panavest Properties for a refund, but they have failed to do so yet.

Harare Civil Court magistrate Mr Adonia Masawi referred the matter to a later date for trial.
