Sandi-Moyo and Mahoka ordered to pay back the money, Sandi-Moyo no longer in Politburo

Yesterday (Wednesday) the Zanu PF Politburo ordered underfire Zanu PF’s Women’s League deputy secretary Nomthandazo Eunice Sandi-Moyo and secretary for finance Sarah Mahoka to pay back all the money they extorted. The two allegedly extorted the money from businesses and local prophets using the names of First Lady, Grace Mugabe, and the Women’s League.

The two are reported to have resigned from their positions in the women’s league in an attempt to avoid the ignominy of being fired. Zanu PF secretary for information and publicity Simon Khaya Moyo revealed that Sandi-Moyo was no longer in the Politburo due to her resignation.

Said Khaya-Moyo:

During the deliberations, the Politburo was informed that both Cdes Sandi Moyo and Mahoka, who were facing similar allegations, had handed in their letters of resignation as members of the Women’s League executive.

…They further have to pay back the funds they abused to the Women’s League. Cde Sandi Moyo was a Politburo member by virtue of being deputy secretary of the Women’s League and if you are no longer in that post you cease to be a Politburo member.
