Zambia deports 58 Zimbabweans

Zambian authorities have deported 62 people including 58 Zimbabweans for overstaying and having improper documentation.

The 58 Zimbabweans who compromise of 51 females and 7 males, were handed over to the Immigration Department at Chirundu Border Post after arriving in two buses. Speaking to The Herald, regional immigration officer Mr Joshua Chibundu confirmed the deportation which took place on Sunday afternoon. However, Zambian authorities could only confirm 51 women caught in a joint immigration and police raid.
