UN's World Food Programme needs $2.3 million for refugees in Zimbabwe

The United Nations’s World Food Programme (WFP) has revealed that it requires $2,3 million provide food asistance to refugees in Zimbabwe. The money is needed to feed refugees at Tongogara Refugee Camp for the next months.

This follows the increase in refugees from Mocambique who are fleeing from the political unrest in that country. Tongogara Refugee Camp has at least 8 100 refugees from the following countries:

DR COngo
Rwanda
Burundi
Somalia
Ethiopia
Eritrea
Mocambique.
