A Midlands State University (MSU) final year student Emelda Mudzviti is battling for her life at Gweru hospital after her fiance Martins Dakwa who was supposed to marry her over the Easter holiday, stabbed her after he found her having sex with her boyfriend Takudzwa Magaso at her lodgings in Nehosho high density suburb.

On Monday, Dakwa who works for a bank in Harare went to Mudzviti’s lodgings in Nehosho after hearing rumours that she was cheating on him. He broke down the door and his fiancee’s boyfriend came to the door naked and wearing a condom. He also stabbed Magaso on the left side of his chest and left arm. Magaso however managed to grab his clothes and escape leaving Dakwa and Mudzviti.

Dakwa who is still to be arrested confirmed the incident to The Chronicle and said that they were in the process of solving the issue.
