Roman Catholic Priest leaving church to marry minor

Father Charles Makowa of St Peters Catholic Church in Checheche has confirmed that he will be leaving the church in order to marry a 17-year-old girl. Makowa, a Roman Catholic priest is alleged to have started sleeping with the minor in 2014 when she was 14 years of age. The priest allegedly paid school fees for the minor and her other siblings and helped in the upkeep of the minor’s family.

When the minor’s mother was asked to comment on the story she threatened the reporter saying:

You don’t know where I work.
Someone will die if you pursue that story

Father Makowa, on the other hand, confirmed the impending nuptials but pronounced a curse on the HMetro reporter.
