Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services Christopher Mushohwe has urged the media to focus on national interests instead of focusing on political issues. The minister said this when he was adressing editors of media organisations on Friday morning.
Mushowe said that the media should avoid byeing used to promote the agendas of different political parties. He urged the media to focus on educating, informing and entertaining the public. The minister gave an example of positive news such as the command agriculture programme which he said was likely to yield a bumper harvest for the nation.
