Joice Mujuru responds to Mutasa and Gumbo’s $5 million lawsuit

Former Vice President and Leader of the National People’s Party (NPP) leader Joice Mujuru has filed an appearance to defend a lawsuit filed against her by former partners Didymus Mutasa and Rugare Gumbo. The two filed a $5 million lawsuit against Mujuru after she had claimed that the two wanted to be intimate with her. They are suing for defamation after Mujuru said:

I want you to google then advise each other. They said Mai Mujuru, we want you to be our queen bee. I was supposed to mate with all men in the party. I was supposed to be their wife.

Part of Mujuru’s court papers read:

Take notice that on the 17th day of March 2017, the defendant (Mujuru) entered an appearance to defend this action.
