Beitbridge border security camera stolen

Border security have opened investigation into an incident where one of 36 security cameras was stolen during a power blackout last week.

The incident came to light on Saturday when security agents discovered a key area used by smugglers and illegal immigrants had no camera monitoring it. Sources that spoke to The Herald said camera 21 which monitors the area around the duty free shop was missing. Matebeleland South provincial spokesperson Inspector Philisani Ndebele said he was yet to get information on the issue.
