Harare City Council’s acting spokesperson Mr Michael Chideme has revealed the reason why several suburbs in Harare have been without water for the past three days.
Chideme said that there was a power failure at Warren Control which affected the delivery lines into the city. He said that they working on the technical faults and water was expected yesterday but that’s not been the situation in some areas. Although Chideme said that southern and western suburbs were not affected by the fault since they get their water directly from Prince Edward and Morton Jaffray water treatment plants, therewas no water in places like Kuwadzana Extension since Monday.
