Grace Mugabe’s $1,3 million ring saga continues as Lebanese businessman sues Chihuri

Lebanese businessman Jamal Ahmed is now seeking to sue the Zimbabwe Republic Police who are guarding his properties in Harare as part of investigations.

Ahmed who obtained a High Court interdict against First Lady Grace Mugabe, her son Mr Russell Goreraza before the police gave an excuse that they were guarding the premises as part of an investigation. Mugabe through her lawyer Mr Wilson Manase of Manaseand Manase Legal Practioners have since filed an application to have the High Court interdict discharged. While the discharge application is still pending, Ahmed through his lawyers Mtetwa and Nyambirai Legal Practioners filed an application to have Police Commissioner General Augustine Chihuri, Assistant Commissioner Thulani Ncube and Superintendent Nyambo Viera cited as fourth, fifth and sixth respondents respectively.
