Videos and Images: March against foreigners and immigrants in Pretoria turns violent

New political party, South Africa First, which has vowed to drive out foreigners from South Africa has organised a march against foreigners and immigrants in collaboration with a community group which calls itself the  Concerned Residents of Mamelodi. The march is being held in Pretoria. There is a heavy police presence and first responders are on standby.

However, the march seems to have turned violent as some criminal elements are taking advantage of the situation and have started looting shops owned by foreigners. Other people have blocked roads and are burning tyres and assorted material in the roads.

Updates:

Police have fired teargas and rubber bullets to disperse the two groups which had gathered. There was a group of immigrants who had gathered to protect themselves from the group of anti-immigration and anti- foreigner protestors.

Here are some videos and images from citizens on the ground.
