Zimbabwe’s second largest city, Bulawayo has been ranked the lowest city in Africa, in terms of housing governance, infrastructure, and the environment. These findings, which many Zimbabweans, may argue with are contained in a survey carried out by Swiss research institute, Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne.
We have not been able to access the survey yet, but we feel that no matter what matric is used Bulawayo, would not be the worst city in Africa. The “City of Kings” is not even the worst city in Zimbabwe.
Here are a few images why we disagree courtesy of Frankie Kay and Master Shots
Please share pictures on social media to call out BBC and show them how Bulawayo is not the worst city in Zimbabwe.
give us pictures of Cowdray Park ema standini and you will agree with the survey.
Those are old pictures. our gvt has neglected Bulawayo for decades unfortunately.
Thanks for the lovely aarticle, Bulawayo is indeed not the worst city in Africa
Bulawayo is a beautiful city but has been affected by the socio economic factors affecting the whole World. It is way beyond most big cities in Africa, those who have visited towns in Africa will agree with me.
Yes the council should do their part with the little they are receiving to maintain the city and keeping it up to date.
No to corrupt activities in all sectors which have affected the growth of all businesses and other sectors.
No need to be negative, lets be real. Those who comment should have all facts first.
