Elephant tramples man to death after he tries driving it to a clearing to take a photo

Moses Ndlovu (31) of Bulilima was trampled to death by an elephant which was part of three elephants, after he tried to drive them out of a bushy area to a clearing at Bhangani Business Centre so that they could take photographs with them.

Narrating the incident to The Chronicle, Matebeleland South province police spokesperson Inspector Philani Ndebele said Ndlovu and his two friends Methuseli Sibanda and Magezi Nyathi on Saturday at around 9AM in Ndiweni area tried to drive three elephants out of a bushy area to a clearing so that they could take photographs with them. He said the matter was reported on Sunday evening by a passerby who saw Ndlovu’s body lying in the middle of the bush.
